The annual art exhibition of the Visual Communication Design program at Universitas Negeri Malang, aptly named ‘Designoholic 11.0′, has concluded with resounding success. This event, a highlight of the academic year, showcased students’ creativity, innovation, and artistic prowess, leaving an indelible mark on all who attended. As we reflect on the achievements of this year’s exhibition, it is imperative to acknowledge the vital contributions of the Display Division, whose dedication and expertise were instrumental in bringing the event to life.

The Display Division is often the unsung hero behind the scenes of any successful exhibition. Their responsibilities extend beyond merely setting up art pieces; they craft an environment that enhances the viewers’ experience, guiding them through the narrative and emotion of each work. In ‘Designoholic 11.0′, the Display Division excelled in creating a cohesive and immersive atmosphere that captured the essence of the students’ artistic visions.

From the initial planning stages to the final dismantling of the exhibition, the Display Division worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was perfect. Their tasks included:

1. Spatial Design and Layout: Carefully planning the arrangement of artworks to ensure optimal viewing angles, proper lighting, and a logical traffic flow. This involved considering each piece’s size, medium, and theme to create a harmonious and engaging exhibit.
2. Technical Setup: Managing the installation of lighting, digital displays, and interactive elements. This technical expertise ensured that every piece was presented best, highlighting the intricate details and enhancing the overall aesthetic.
3. Aesthetic Enhancement: Designing additional elements such as backdrops, partitions, and signage that complemented the artworks and contributed to a unified visual experience. These enhancements helped in creating an inviting and professional environment for the exhibition.
4. Problem-Solving: Addressing any issues that arose during the setup and throughout the exhibition. Their troubleshooting ability ensured the exhibition ran smoothly and maintained its high standards.

As we celebrate the triumph of ‘Designoholic 11.0’, we acknowledge the extraordinary contributions of the Display Division with profound gratitude.
