FS UM ARABIC DEPARTMENT TEAM HOLDS DIGITAL MEDIA CREATION TRAINING
The Lecturer Team of the Department of Arabic Language, Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang (DBA FS UM) held training for DBA FS UM alumni, Saturday (16/7) online. The training, which carries the theme Making Arabic Digital Media, targets 70 alumni teachers at various levels of education, from Kindergarten (TK) to Higher Education (PT). This training activity was opened by the Head of DBA FS UM, Dr. Hanik Mahliatussikah, M.Hum. In his remarks, Hanik said that this activity was a form of the Tridharma of Higher Education. He also appreciated the DBA JSA FS UM Lecturer team for carrying out this activity. “This activity is a tangible manifestation of DBA FS UM’s concern for its alumni,” he said. The presenters of this training consisted of five people. Four of them are DBA FS UM Lecturers and one is a DBA FS UM alumni.
Some of the speakers were Moh Fauzan SPd MPdI who delivered material with the theme “Making Digital Media Using Screen Cast-O-Matic (SOM) and Its Utilization in Arabic Language Learning”. Meanwhile, Dr Hanik Mahliatussikah MHum, discussed “Utilization of Digital Media in Arabic Language Learning for Children in the Era of Society 5.0”. On the other hand, Dr. Moch Wahib Dariyadi MPd filled the material about “Making E-Comic Learning Media in Arabic Language Learning”. Then Dr Muhammad Alfan SPd MPd explained about the material “Utilization of Digital Power Point Media with Picture and Picture Models and Example Non Example in Arabic Language Learning”.
There was also Elwin Walimatul Fara SPd who discussed “Making Lectora-based Digital Arabic Learning Media”. For information, the participants were DBA FS UM alumni who had taught from various regions in Indonesia. The participants were also very enthusiastic about participating in this activity. In fact, they want further training after this activity. “Hopefully, this kind of training will be held every year,” said one of the participants. (bin)
